Local 739 participates in The International Association of Fire Fighters Annual Muscular Dystrophy Fill the Boot Drive

The Fire Fighters in this local volunteer their time to collect donations at local businesses. Until recently the drive was held in the last weekend in July. In the year 2000 we began holding the drive Thanksgiving week. This change was extremely successful. We collected equal or greater amounts of money in 2 days as we did in the 4 day July drive.
